August 2025 — Incense Chimeneas

August was a continuation of the Porcelain Party.

After seeing how dreamy this porcelain looks when illuminated, I decided to tackle the next project on my list.

Incense chimeneas — bonus that they also function as luminaries for the non-incense fans.

These were a lot easier to make than I anticipated — so I made small ones initially as the trial pieces, then dramatically upscaled from 1 pound pieces to nearly 3 pounds.

I decided to be a little more dramatic in the surface design by working in more relief carving than I did with the first luminary.

VERY pleased with how these turned out.
